Using minoxidil ruined my brothers hair

I would strongly advise against use of minoxidil, it has ruined my brothers hair and his self confidence.

yep i agree. minixidil is over rated. it increases circulation thats all. and you can do that with many natural methods, like scalp massage.

I remember on the NHS website it used to say, “we dont know how it works, but it works” - and I used to think how dumb can someone get - it literally was used as a vasodilator for heart patients, and they found side effects are hair growth, so sold it as topical hair growth, how can they not know, unless they dont want people to know increased circulation helps hair growth (which means you can just massage your scalp!).

crazy and makes me angry.

bro i stay clear from those pharmaceuticals. their aim is to make money, and not cure.

I totally get where you’re coming from. Minoxidil seems to be a mixed bag, and it’s frustrating when something that’s supposed to help can end up doing more harm than good. I’ve found that a more natural approach, like regular scalp massage, can make a big difference. Even just 20 minutes a day can boost circulation and reduce inflammation. Plus, it’s relaxing and feels good!

I also take nettle leaf tea to support my liver, which indirectly helps with hair growth. A healthy liver means better overall health, and that shows in your hair. And don’t forget about collagen powder; I use it a couple of times a day. It’s amazing for skin and hair, and I feel it’s more effective than biotin for me.

Managing stress and getting enough sleep are also key. Stress can really take a toll on your hair, and a good night’s rest helps with everything from circulation to hormone balance. It’s all about finding what works best for your body and sticking with it.

I totally agree with you. Minoxidil never did anything for me, and it’s frustrating when people swear by it. I’ve found that a natural approach works much better for me. I do a daily scalp massage for about 20 minutes, and it’s honestly made a noticeable difference. It’s not just about the circulation; it’s also about reducing inflammation and just feeling relaxed.

I’ve also been focusing on my diet and overall health. Taking nettle leaf tea has been a game-changer for me. It’s great for the liver, and a healthy liver really does make a difference in hair growth. I mix in some collagen powder too, especially in my morning smoothies. It’s been amazing for my skin and hair.

Stress management and sleep are huge too. I try to meditate for a few minutes each day and make sure I get at least 8 hours of sleep. It’s all about creating a holistic approach that supports your body from the inside out. What works for one person might not work for another, so it’s all about finding what feels right for you.
