I’ve been reading a lot about omega-3 fatty acids lately and how they might influence hair health. Most sources mention that they help reduce inflammation and improve scalp health, but I haven’t seen much concrete evidence on whether they actually promote hair growth or prevent hair loss. Has anyone here tried supplementing with omega-3s or increased their intake through diet, and if so, what were your results?
I’ve been taking omega-3s for a while now, mostly for general health, but I did notice my scalp felt a bit better. Not bad, I guess, but no major changes in hair growth or thickness. I’ve heard mixed things about it, but for me, it’s more of a side benefit. I get them from eating fish a couple of times a week and taking a supplement. Haven’t noticed any downsides, but I wouldn’t say it’s a miracle worker for hair. Curious to hear what others have experienced though.
