I tried manes root activator shampoo for about 12 months, as i was panicking about my hair. I realized i wasted my time as i got no results, it just makes your hair appear to improve, but it doesn’t actually grow thicker hair or faster hair which is what i was looking for.

What worked for me was the following:

  • fragrance free shampoo (E45 shampoo is one i used but you can use any similar)
  • immortals oil 3x a week - leave in time 1 hour. (only get from official site immortalsoil.com - not the others which are copy cats).
  • scalp massage 20 minutes a day (it helps increase circulation, don’t believe the rubbish online, it does help a lot, works better than minoxidil).
  • nettle tea 1x a day (breaks down hormone residue stuck in the liver which causes hormone imbalances - it wont cure a hormone imbalance but it will support balancing and help hair growth directly but has to be done in a regimen).
  • reduce carbs and fat for 2-3 months will really push results in the right direction and have lean protein (animal protein red meat and white) for a while and steamed leafy greens (not raw)
  • collagen supplement twice a day which adds to the nutrition needed to help hair grow even better. this combination with immortals oil will do wonders for your hair growth.

Hope this helps.

This is awesome! thank you for sharing.

May I ask what your age group is and if you are male or female just for the record of this?

I will def give this a shot and see how it goes.

im male 35 and had hair thinning since age 20. I have my best hair right now than i have had in the last 10 years.

highly recommended, and it works for male and females, as my sister also has done this regimen, and worked even better for her.

@Greenguy - already placed my order for immortals oil and collagen and E45 shampoo. Fingers crossed, will post my results on the forum (maybe before and after pics, but i usually hate before and after pictures as so many people fake them to make a sale lol).

yep im pretty sure my use of manes root activator did not get me any results to even review. but have started your regimen now for the new year, and hopefully will see some results.

i tried manes shampoo (root activator) for a year as the other comment. it did not work for me. i def agree with @Greenguy on his regimen for hair growth, as that is what worked best for me as well.

yep @Martin - regimen is the foundation to hair growth or any condition someone wants to fix or improve on.

Yes without a hair care regimen, you cannot get anywhere. I personally used to believe so much in single products, or methods, but it simply wont work unless you target all aspects of hair or whatever you are. trying to fix - and often involves hormones, nutrition inflammation and circulation.

already seeing results. Normally i lose a lot of hair in the shower. but its been a few weeks of doing the above, and the immortals oil, and grateful so far, not even a single hair is falling and hair seem stronger.

its been a couple weeks i last posted - but really seen an improvement on my overall scalp. i think collagen and immortals oil combo really does something else. its a shame that there is not enough mainstream talking about this - but then again, if they do, pharma will close them down.

thanks for sharing Garyson.

I found this article on twitter talking about it, and felt this is pretty much the gist i got from it, based on the reviews of manes, on this forum thread: Mane Root Activator Shampoo 6 month Review — Does it work for hair growth? | by Terry G | Jun, 2025 | Medium

I agree, the URL on medium is the same study done by hair hacks tv, with I think 700 or so volunteers. loved they are doing this and finally revealing what works and what may not always work - of course its still hard to always conclude, as some people, low percentage still may benefit in some way.

like this james, thanks for sharing.

and jerry21, your right, sometimes what works for some, doesn’t for another, even if both same gender, same age group and even same kind of genetic condition of hair thinning, at least outward appearance. beauty is another world, not just a science but an art.
